My father is the heart and purpose behind my photography. He loved photography deeply and, as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist (for over 40 years) who travelled the world doing what he loved, he always captured the places he visited, the quiet moments in between, and the memories we shared as a family on holidays, at celebrations, and in everyday life. From a young age he taught me photography not in a professional sense, but in a deeper way, showing me the meaning of family, love, and presence. He was the one who encouraged me to study photography, to continue with my honours, and he gave me my very first camera as well as the Canon R5 I shoot with today.

He was my hero and my greatest example, the one who showed me how to work hard for the life you dream of. I love my father with my whole heart, and everything I create is for him. I hope he looks down from heaven and sees me becoming everything I once dreamed of. I am not only capturing love stories; in every photograph lives a piece of him, a quiet reminder of his patience, his love, and the way he taught us to hold onto moments. Each time I hold my camera, it feels as though he is close beside me, softly cheering, “You go, Bobbie.”
